Every lot, on the record
Purity belongs to a lot, not to a product. A supplier who publishes one certificate and reuses it across every batch is telling you about a batch you will never receive.

Intake & quarantine
The lot is received, assigned an internal lot number, and held. Nothing is listed, photographed, or priced at this stage. A lot that never clears the remaining steps never becomes a product page at all.
Independent assay
A sample is drawn and sent to a third-party laboratory for HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity confirmation. We do not run our own numbers, and we do not commission a second opinion if we dislike the first.
Certificate published
The returned certificate is uploaded and bound to the lot number. This write is what makes the lot listable — the catalogue is gated on the presence of the document, not on someone ticking a box.
Release to catalogue
Stock is decremented against that specific lot from then on, so the certificate you read is the certificate for the vial you receive. When the lot is exhausted the listing comes down until the next lot clears.
What is on a certificate
Purity by HPLC
The assayed percentage for that specific lot. We publish the measured result, not the specification we buy against — those are different numbers and conflating them is the oldest trick in this industry.
Identity by mass spec
Confirmation that the material is the compound named on the label. Purity without identity tells you the vial contains 99% of something.
Quantity / content
The mass of peptide actually found in the vial, measured against the amount on the label. Purity is a percentage of whatever is in there — it says nothing about how much you received. A short-filled vial of exceptionally pure material is still a short-filled vial.
