Who may buy

These materials are sold only to qualified researchers and licensed institutions for use in in-vitro laboratory research. By placing an order you represent that you are at least 21 years old, that you are acquiring these materials in the course of professional or institutional research, and that you are authorized to receive and handle them where they will be delivered.

We reserve the right to decline any order, and to ask for verification of your research affiliation or eligibility before we ship. We may cancel and refund an order at any time before dispatch if we are unable to verify eligibility or if we believe an order is intended for a use these terms prohibit.

What these materials are — and are not

Every product sold here is a research chemical supplied for laboratory use only. Nothing sold here is a drug, food, cosmetic, dietary supplement, or medical device. Nothing sold here is intended for human or veterinary consumption, or for any diagnostic or therapeutic use. No description, certificate, or other statement anywhere on this site describes or implies an effect in humans or animals.

The purchaser assumes full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, lawful use, and lawful disposal of everything purchased, and for compliance with all laws and institutional rules that apply to that use in the purchaser's jurisdiction.

Prices and product information

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. We work to keep product details, stock, and pricing accurate, but errors happen. If an order is affected by a pricing or description error, we may cancel it and refund you in full before dispatch rather than fulfil it at the wrong price or against the wrong description.

Purity figures, lot numbers, and certificates of analysis are provided for the specific lot they name. A certificate describes the lot it was issued for and does not guarantee any particular result in your own research.

How payment works

This store does not take card payments. After you place an order you are shown bank-transfer instructions and an order reference. Your order is not confirmed until we receive and match your transfer. Quote the order reference exactly so we can match your payment; a transfer we cannot match delays your order.

An unpaid order is held for 7 days while we wait for your transfer. If payment does not arrive in that time the order may be cancelled and any reserved stock released. Nothing is ever charged automatically, and we never store card details because we never take a card.

Shipping, risk, and title

We ship within the United States only. Dispatch timing, packaging, damage, and returns are covered in our Shipping & returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Title to the materials and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier.

Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges that apply to your order except those we are registered to collect and show at checkout. Where we are registered to collect sales tax, it is calculated and shown before you pay. See Shipping & returns for the states in which we currently collect tax.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of the materials, which you acquire and use entirely at your own risk and responsibility as described above.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to an order or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you agree to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force for your order is the one published on this page on the date you placed it; the "last updated" date below tells you when this version took effect.
